Written recollections and oral histories provide an intimate, personal look into our past. The Franklin Township Historical Commission is always pleased to have those who are or have been part of our community share their memories and experiences with us and others.
In addition to the memories presented here, which the Commission hopes will gradually increase over time, you can find a link to information on how to record oral histories for your family.
Jack Neill, better known to his students as Dr. Neill, has shared some of his fondest memories from his more than two decades as principal of Kemblesville Elementary School as well as some pictures from his time there.
We have none to share at present, but the HC hope to be able to post something soon.
Have you ever wondered how you might go about preserving your own family oral histories? We have some suggestions for you.
